"ONE EVENT THAT WILL MAKE HISTORY” 1. The contest “One event that will make history” begins on February 15, 2010, and ends on April 30, 2010. 2. Credit card holders of the Visa Novel, Visa Icon, Visa Secured, Visa Return, Visa Signature, Visa Infinite or INDIGO Visa cards from Banco Popular are eligible to participate. They must be of legal age, residents of Puerto Rico, and their accounts must be active and in good standing. In order to be eligible the cardholder cannot have a past due or charged-off account with Banco Popular or any of its subsidiaries at the moment of the draw. 3. Eligible participants who use their Visa Novel, Visa Icon, Visa Secured, or Visa Return cards between on February 15, 2010 and April 30, 2010 will automatically get one participation for each dollar on purchases. Eligible participants who use their Visa Signature, Visa Infinite or INDIGO Visa cards issued by Banco Popular, between on February 15, 2010 and April 30, 2010 will automatically get two participations for each dollar on purchases. Excludes any credit for purchases made in that period. 4. No purchase necessary to participate. There are two ways to participate: B. Those participating by mail and without any purchase will be entered electronically by assigning them a number as if it were a card. Only participations or transactions received or performed by 11:59:59 p.m.(Puerto Rico Zone Time) on April 30, 2010, will be accepted. On the date of the drawing (2) participations will be chosen at random, one (1) winner and one (1) alternate winner. All participations, those submitted by using the Visa BPPR card as well as those submitted by mail, have the same probabilities of winning. The account must be open and current. C. No reproductions, copies of receipts or participations in personalized stamped envelopes will be accepted. 6. Employees of Visa and Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, and their advertising, public relations or marketing agencies may not participate. 7. There will be only one electronic drawing and will be held on May 7, 2010 at the BPPR Card Products Division. The prizes will be awarded to the principal cardholder name in the account as determined by the account used to participate or to which reference was made in the mail entry. There is one prize. Trips must be executed in the dates specified by the sponsor. The services and products will be delivered with the guaranties of the supplier. The winner and his/her companion will be responsible of getting the required travel identification documents required by the pertinent authorities. Winner will not get the prize if the Visa account is not current. 8. The winners will be notified by telephone and will have thirty (30) days from to claim the prize. The winner may coordinate to receive the prize by presenting an official photo ID at BPPR Card Products Division (624), Señorial Center, 2nd. Floor, North Wing, Lomas Verdes Ave. (PR 177), Luis A. Ferré Expressway Intersection (PR52), Rio Piedras, P.R. 00926. A satisfactory personal ID will be required from the winner before the prize is delivered. The prize is not transferable or convertible to cash and will only be delivered to the person whose name appears as sender in the notification letter to the winner. 9. All taxes applicable as a result of the acceptance of the prizes will be the sole responsibility of the winner. 10. Visa, BPPR and their financial institutions, advertising, marketing or public relations agencies do not assume responsibility for any damages, accidents or losses (directly, indirectly or as a result thereof) that the winners, their family members, or any other person may suffer by using or enjoying the prize. Any and all obligations toward the prize winners on the part of Visa and BPPR will cease and will be completely satisfied upon delivery of the prize, which will be delivered with the guarantees of the product or service provider. 11. By participating in the contest and accepting the prize, the winner grants Visa and BPPR, its advertising, marketing and public relations agencies the right to use his or her name, voice and likeness, photograph and to make personal presentations, in any media without additional compensation. 12. The contest “One event that will make history” is sponsored by Visa and BPPR. If necessary, the winner will accept any reasonable delay regarding the delivery of the prize. At the time of delivery, the winner must sign a receipt for the prize won and a release and hold harmless in favor of Visa, BPPR and their employees, for any damage or claim that may be caused and/or suffered through the use and enjoyment of the prize. By participating in the contest, the winner shall sign a release and hold harmless agreement and a media release by which he or she grants the right to publish and publicize the name, voice and likeness in any of the Island’s media, at the present time or in the future (including electronic networks), without compensation. 14. Visa and BPPR reserve the absolute rights to cancel the contest, change the rules or the date of beginning or end of the contest and/or date of the drawing for causes beyond its control, subject to applicable regulations. 15. Visa and BPPR will not be responsible for participations that are lost, incomplete, illegible, late, with incorrect address or misdirected, stolen, with insufficient postage or mutilated; or for any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission or communication; for technical or mechanical failures or deficiencies; for failures or deficient functioning of the telephone, telephone lines or telephone systems; mistakes in the Official Rules, in any advertising or other material related to the contest; for failures in electronic equipment, computer hardware or software; or inaccurate information regarding the entry, whether due to the equipment, the software used in the contest, due to human error in processing, or for any other cause. Visa and BPPR reserve the absolute rights to determine the validity of participations submitted and to reject them if they do not comply with the contest rules, or if an unauthorized method has been used to participate. 16. This contest is valid only in Puerto Rico. It is subject to the applicable laws and regulations of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The date of delivery will be confirmed in the written notification that will be mailed to the winner. Sponsors unilaterally reserve the right to substitute the prize for another of equal or higher value, to modify the rules or the dates of the contest, when, at their judgment and criteria, they deem it necessary, in conformity with the applicable norms and regulations.
